We are seeking an experienced Vocational Trainer – Retail to join our team. The trainer will be responsible for training students/trainees in retail operations, customer service excellence, and sales practices to prepare them for successful careers in the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Train trainees/students on retail operations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, billing procedures, and store management practices
Ø Develop and deliver training programs on customer service, sales techniques, visual merchandising, and inventory management
Ø Conduct hands-on training sessions, role-plays, simulations, and live demonstrations
Ø Assess trainees' progress through practical assessments, assignments, and evaluations, and provide constructive feedback
Ø Collaborate with store operations and management teams to ensure training content is aligned with current retail industry standards
Ø Create and update training materials, manuals, presentations, and documentation
Ø Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements
Ø Provide guidance on customer handling, product knowledge, upselling, and maintaining store standards
Ø Stay up-to-date with retail industry trends, consumer behavior insights, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Ø Strong knowledge of retail operations and store management systems
Ø Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional skills
Ø Ability to design and deliver structured vocational training programs
Ø Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
