Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts to oversee and manage the end-to-end finance and accounting functions within our infrastructure development projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally and have a strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Oversee cash flow management, ensuring optimal financial health for ongoing infrastructure projects.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and audit requirements.
Coordinate with project teams to track project costs, revenue recognition, and financial performance.
Handle tax filings, GST compliance, and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
Maintain accurate financial records using Tally software.
Monitor and manage fixed assets and inventory.
Lead the financial audit process and implement improvements in financial controls and processes.
