Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Solar PV Installer Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for aspiring solar panel installation technicians. The trainer will ensure that trainees gain the skills and knowledge required to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar panel systems safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on training sessions on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar panel systems.
- Provide theoretical instruction on solar energy principles, electrical systems, safety procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and curriculum to reflect the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in solar technology, installation techniques, and industry regulations.
- Utilize various training methods, including in-person workshops, online modules, and practical exercises, to accommodate different learning styles.
- Tailor training programs to meet the needs of different experience levels, from beginners to advanced technicians.
- Assess trainees’ progress through practical assessments, written exams, and hands-on evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to trainees to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of trainee performance and certification status.
- Ensure all training adheres to industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety and emphasize the importance of following best practices during installation and maintenance.
- Ensure that all training content is aligned with the latest updates and industry best practices.
- Gather feedback from trainees on training effectiveness and content.
- Generate reports on training effectiveness and areas for improvement
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of training equipment and resources.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, HR, and trainees.
- Coordinate with other trainers and departments to ensure a cohesive training strategy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech & Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical and Electronics Eng.),
- Previous experience in a training or instructional role is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Ability to develop training materials and deliver technical content effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- TOT Certified
- Patience and the ability to effectively train individuals with varying levels of experience.
- Ability to adapt training methods to the needs of trainees.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
