II. The Role:
The Manager - Employee On: boarding will be responsible for the end-to-end on-boarding process for both staffing and internal employees. The role encompasses handling all activities from pre-offer coordination to the first 15 days post-joining, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new employees. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
III. Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Onboarding Coordination:
- Manage pre-offer activities, including document collection, verification, and pre-joining communication.
- Ensure all required documentation and compliance forms are completed before the joining date.
- Coordinate with logistics for arrangements such as IT equipment, workspace setup, and other resources.
2. On-boarding Process:
- Oversee the e-joining formalities, ensuring a smooth digital on-boarding experience.
- Serve as the point of contact for new hires during the first 7 days, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
- Provide detailed guidance on company policies, work culture, and job expectations.
3. Post-Joining Support:
- Conduct regular check-ins with new employees for the first 15 days to ensure they are settling in effectively.
- Coordinate initial training sessions, if applicable, and provide relevant resources.
- Facilitate introductions and integration into teams for both staffing and internal employees.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and employee documents in the HRIS system.
- Generate onboarding reports and analyze feedback to continuously improve the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with HR and management to resolve any onboarding-related challenges.
5. Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work closely with recruiters, department heads, and logistics teams to ensure timely onboarding.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on onboarding progress and any identified gaps.
6. Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Any education: a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is plus
- 10+ years of experience in employee onboarding, HR operations, or a related domain.
- Proficiency in HRIS and digital onboarding platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
7. Performance Metrics:
- Timely completion of pre-onboarding and e-joining formalities.
- New hire satisfaction scores for the first 15 days.
- Accuracy in document collection and compliance adherence.
- Reduction in onboarding process time and associated errors.
