We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Electrician Trainer to join our team. The trainer will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for aspiring assistant electricians. The role involves equipping trainees with the skills and knowledge needed to perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on training sessions focused on basic electrical installations, wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide demonstrations on the proper use of electrical tools, equipment, and safety gear.
- Create and update training manuals, guides, and course content based on the latest industry practices and technological advancements.
- Incorporate feedback from industry experts and trainees to continuously improve the training curriculum.
- Use various teaching techniques, including role-playing, simulations, workshops, and digital learning tools to cater to different learning styles.
- Design scenarios for real-world customer interactions to prepare trainees for on-the-job challenges.
- Assess trainees’ progress through practical assessments, written exams, and hands-on evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to trainees to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of trainee performance and certification status.
- Ensure all training adheres to industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety and emphasize the importance of following best practices during installation and maintenance.
- Ensure that all training content is aligned with the latest updates and industry best practices.
- Gather feedback from trainees on training effectiveness and content.
- Generate reports on training effectiveness and areas for improvement
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of training equipment and resources.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, HR, and trainees.
- Coordinate with other trainers and departments to ensure a cohesive training strategy.
