JD for Mechanics
1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake servicing,engine overhauling,etc.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
• Replace or repair faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and other systems.
2. Diagnostics
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
3. Customer Interaction
• Explain repair needs and procedures to customers, if required.
• Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs and maintenance tasks.
4. Team Collaboration
• Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and workshop managers.
• Assist in training junior mechanics or apprentices when needed.
Education:
• Certification/Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a car mechanic (4+ years preferred).
• Experience with different vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
