The Role: The Regional Business President – North & West will have the complete accountability to drive the growth of all the business lines of the company & the subsidiaries within the region. The existing & evolving business lines include Staffing, off-shoring, Skill, Technology Solutions, Advisory, Project Management & infrastructure business, only need based.
He will play a crucial role in our success by scoping the existing & unmet needs of the corporates / clients in the regional and customizing our service offerings to align with local market demands, building strategic partnerships with organizations, across the diverse lines of business and effectively positioning our services in the market.
The role ambit would have a gradual progression, initially having Revenue, Business development and new Partnerships & Collaboration as a focus. The transition would subsequently include the end to end operations thru integration of the entire regional based team ensuring end to end control, from scoping to onboarding to service delivery and customer engagement.
The success of the role would be in active collaboration with the COE roles based at the corporate ensuring seamless integration for the clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue & Costs: Ensure the revenue plans are delivered in line with the AoP. The complete control would reside with the incumbent to drive the critical financial health metrics including improving the service margins, client share, number of services sold, capitalization of referrals, revenue realization days, NODs, multiple location presence, Industry cluster penetration.
Drive efficiencies of operation & scale, leveraging the COEs to favorably impact the Cost to Serve, Cost per hire, cost of new client and other allied cost heads.
2. Market Expansion and Business Growth: Identify and explore new markets and customers / Industries Clusters & associations with potential for business solutions, including transition from current service provider, emerging and under-served sectors. Develop and implement strategies to enter new markets, green field operations & early stage collaborations to offer innovative products & solutions. Create a business development funnel ensuring a broad client base and a high extraction per client.
3. Fueling the long term vision Effective Market Maps & GTM plans: Research and identify organizations across industry sectors that have opportunities across the current & evolving lines of business. Feedback with the business teams on new products / services in the market to be reverse engineered & launched. Develop targeted marketing campaigns to showcase our brand strength and attract potential clients.
4. Client / Internal Stake holders Collaboration: Create & maintain strong working relationships across the spectrum of the COEs & other regions to bolster relevant insights & experiences towards improving the existing and offering customer centric services. Focus on strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
5. AoP & Budgets: Demonstrate absolute ownership for the Revenue targets & ensure tight controls & a sharp watch on the cost lines & management of cost across the sphere of operations without compromising the velocity, quality & quantity of delivery. Workable market insights on the opportunities to leverage services, technology and opportunities to automate, towards maximizing the productivity, minimizing human transactional interventions leading to higher control & accuracy on the data, reports and analytics.
6. Team Management: Ensure adequacy of talent in the internal team, headcount & competence enabling readiness to deliver zero error service deliver, high productivity and engagement for the team. Deliver integration of the team to company DNA of Multi-Tasking, Mobility, vertical & horizontal movements leading to higher engagement.
The Ideal Experience: The ideal incumbent must carry an evolved understanding of the relevant services, technology solutions, automation and preferably project management exposure. Must be conversant with the regional nuance of talent, industry & practices for the North & West region. The role holder must demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, with a zeal to improve topline, delivery quality services at a reasonable cost, apt for a business manager.
With about 15 years of experience, the role holder must demonstrate a 360 degree understanding of the business landscape, the talent catchment, the industry centric requirements, the practices of credible competitors, business operations, engagement of talent and above all refined leadership & people / client relationship skills.
An evolved experiential understanding of the staffing industry and the complexities of building a business, operations / service delivery and stakeholder management would be an advantage having managed a huge workforce across diverse geographies.
With a superior understanding of Costing, Statutory Compliances, Taxation, Skill Eco-system, Project management, technology solutions and people management practices, the incumbent must have had a strong track record of delivering success stories in the related domain to demonstrate the right to win.
Education: A Master’s degree in Business, to build up on the competence required, as above.
