Job Title: Executive (Sales) - Automotive Department
Location: Gurugram
Salary Range: ₹5 LPA to ₹7 LPA
Reporting To: Assistant Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report Preparation & Presentation:
Collect, analyze, and summarize sales data to prepare and present detailed reports to the reporting manager and management team when needed. - Sales Execution:
Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers. - Customer Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers, addressing their needs and inquiries and providing effective solutions to challenges. - Product Knowledge & Consultation:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of automotive steel products and their applications, offering expert consultation to clients. - Sales Quotes & Presentations:
Prepare accurate quotes and compelling presentations for clients, assisting the team in closing sales and meeting targets. - Market Research & Reporting:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback. Regularly report on market conditions, sales activities, and opportunities to the team. - Sales Targets & Forecasting:
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets. Track and forecast sales performance to ensure consistent growth and profitability, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. - Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure smooth execution of sales activities. - Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve customer concerns or issues promptly, ensuring high satisfaction levels and fostering long-term customer loyalty.
Experience & Skills:
Mandatory:
- Sales Coordination/Support:
2-3 years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or an administrative role, ideally within the steel or automotive sector. - Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders. - MS Office & Excel Proficiency:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to generate reports, presentations, and analysis. - Supply Chain Knowledge:
Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics related to automotive sales.
Preferred:
- Japanese Trading Experience:
Experience working with a Japanese trading firm or multinational corporation (MNC). - ERP/SAP Exposure:
Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) for sales order processing and inventory management.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
