Job Purpose: The Project Manager, Skill & Jobs will drive candidate sourcing, placement, skill project management, and employer engagement. With a strong focus on operational excellence, this role ensures successful placements of skilled candidates while fostering strong industry relationships. Ex-servicemen with leadership experience in HR, administration, or logistics are preferred to bring discipline and efficiency to the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Placement (50%)
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for candidates trained under skill development programs.
- Manage campus drives (onsite & virtual) for effective hiring.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of job-ready candidates through structured outreach.
- Ensure pre-placement training and readiness of candidates for industry hiring.
- Conduct virtual & physical recruitment drives for faster placement.
Skill Development Project Management (20%)
- Oversee execution of skill projects, ensuring alignment with industry needs.
- Work with training partners, assessment bodies, and funding agencies for program success.
- Monitor project deliverables, placement targets, and budget utilization.
Employer Engagement & Industry Collaboration (20%)
- Build partnerships with employers, staffing agencies, and industry leaders for placements.
- Align skill programs with emerging job market trends and industry demands.
- Organize job fairs, recruitment events, and employer connect programs.
Operational Excellence & Compliance (10%)
- Ensure compliance with government and project guidelines for placements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, placement records, and employer feedback.
- Implement technology-driven tracking systems for real-time placement updates.
Qualifications & Experience: A degree in Business, HR, Social Sciences, or a related field with 12 to 20 years of experience, including 2 to 5 years in Project Management, Placement, Recruitment, or Skill Project Management. Ex-servicemen with relevant experience in HR or logistics are encouraged to apply.
