Job Description:
Recruitment and Hiring:
- Identifying staffing needs across the production floor and departments.
- Posting job openings, conducting interviews, and selecting qualified candidates.
- Managing the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, introductions, and training.
Employee Relations:
- Addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts
- Investigating and handling disciplinary issues
- Guiding managers on employee performance management
Performance Management:
- Implementing performance review processes
- Setting performance goals and providing feedback to employees
- Identifying and addressing performance issues
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administering employee benefits plans (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.)
- Processing payroll and ensuring accurate pay calculations
- Staying updated on changes in compensation laws and regulations
Training and Development:
- Identifying training needs across the manufacturing facility
- Developing and delivering training programs on safety procedures, quality standards, and job-specific skills
Compliance:
- Ensuring adherence to all applicable labor laws, including overtime regulations, minimum wage, and workplace safety standards
- Maintaining employee records and documentation to comply with legal requirements
Communication and Engagement:
- Communicating company policies and updates to employees
- Implementing employee engagement initiatives to maintain morale
Required skills for a manufacturing HR Generalist:
