Areas of Responsibilities
Develop and implement the System Completion Management Plan, defining system boundaries, turnover strategy, and project completion workflow.
Interface with engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning teams to define and align system/subsystem breakdowns.
Oversee the systemization of project deliverables (mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover).
Manage and update the System Completion Database (SCDB) or software tools (e.g., WinPCS, CMS, PIMS, or L&T’s internal systems).
Ensure tag-level tracking of construction, inspection, testing, and certification activities for all disciplines.
Coordinate and verify completion of system dossiers — including ITRs (Inspection Test Records), FAT/SAT, and completion certificates.
Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning readiness reviews, ensuring punch list closure and system integrity prior to handover.
Drive handover milestones from construction to commissioning to operations in accordance with project schedule.
Monitor and report progress of system completion activities to project management and client representatives.
Ensure all work is executed in compliance with HSE, quality, and L&T’s project execution standards.
Conduct regular coordination meetings with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and client teams to resolve technical or procedural issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemical / Marine / Offshore Engineering (or equivalent).
8–15 years of experience in system completion, commissioning, or project handover roles in EPC or Oil & Gas industries.
Proven experience managing multi-discipline system completion activities in large-scale onshore/offshore projects.
Strong understanding of EPC project workflows, systemization, and turnover documentation.
Familiarity with P&IDs, system drawings, loop folders, ITRs, and as-built documentation.
Hands-on experience with Completion Management Systems (CMS) and related digital handover tools.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
Experience with L&T Energy Hydrocarbon / Heavy Engineering / Offshore Projects.
Certification in Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2) or Commissioning Management.
Knowledge of ISO 14224, API, ASME, DNV, and client-specific standards.
Prior exposure to digital completion systems like Hexagon, WinPCS, or PIMS.
