About Client: The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI) is a ministry of the Government o India responsible for formulation and administration of the rules and regulations and laws relating to food processing in India. The ministry was set up in the year 1988.

MoFPI is hiring of Young Professionals Technical for “Prime Minister Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme” of Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India on Contractual basis.

Contractual Status: Initially for a period of 1 year

Job Roles & Responsibility:

✓ Support the PMU in all day-to-day task especially in data synthesis, preparation of power-point presentations and Reports.

✓ Young professionals were required to provide their input in disciplines like Food Technology / Agri Business / Rural Development / Data Analysis / Project Management etc.

✓ To work on special tasks related to implementation of project as and when conveyed by MoFPI or the PMU (in accordance with the approval of MoFPI).

✓ Any other work assigned by the competent authority.

Mandatory Educational Qualification: Post-Graduation in Food Technology/ Food Engineering / Food Processing / Post Harvest Engineering / Food Science / Food Safety and Quality Assurance (Full Time).

Mandatory Experience Requirement: Minimum 2-year experience in Food Processing Industries or Food & Agri Business Sector

Duration of assignment: The assignment will be initially for a period of 1 year. The selected candidate wouldinitially be in probation for a period of 6 months. Based on the work performance, MoFPI shall have powers to extend or reduce the period of assignment.

MoFPI invites applications for the National Project Monitoring Unit (NPMU) for the PMFME scheme (Guidelines of scheme is available on Ministry’s website www.mofpi.nic.in and www.pmfme.mofpi.gov.in) for the position of Young Professional from the eligible candidates.
