Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Assistant Electrical Trainer for our Learning and Development (L&D) team at Vision India. The Assistant Trainer will support the delivery of effective electrical training programs to develop the technical skills, safety awareness, and industry readiness of trainees/job aspirants. This role focuses on assisting in practical and theoretical training aligned with industry requirements and placement needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about skill development and learning facilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting hands-on training sessions on electrical installations, wiring, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Support theoretical instruction on basic electrical principles, wiring systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Help trainees understand electrical symbols, drawings, circuit diagrams, and industry standards.
- Assist in the development and updating of training materials, manuals, and course content.
- Support senior trainers during practical demonstrations and workshops.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety norms, use of PPE, and safe working practices during training sessions.
- Assist in assessing trainee performance through practical tests, written exams, and observations.
- Provide basic guidance and feedback to trainees to improve skills and understanding.
- Maintain trainee attendance records, assessment data, and training documentation.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and training infrastructure.
- Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and best practices among trainees.
- Collect trainee feedback and share inputs with senior trainers for training improvement.
- Coordinate with trainers, HR, and program teams for smooth training execution.
- Support placement-oriented training aligned with industry needs.
Skills:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, tools, and safety standards.
