Job Summary
S/he will be responsible for identifying relevant tenders, preparing bid documents, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely submission of proposals. The role requires strong documentation skills, understanding of government/PSU procurement processes, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Search, identify, and analyze tenders from various portals such as GeM, CPPP, state e-procurement portals and other private platforms.
- Review eligibility criteria, technical requirements, and commercial terms of tender documents.
- Prepare and compile pre-qualification, technical, and financial bid documents as per tender requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (finance, operations, legal, HR, technical) for required inputs and documentation.
- Prepare compliance statements, bid summaries for management approval.
- Manage online and offline tender submissions within stipulated timelines.
- Handle EMD/BG preparation, tender fee payments, and post-bid correspondence.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and prepare clarifications/queries.
- Maintain tender MIS, tracker, and record of submitted/ongoing bids.
- Support in contract finalization, LOA review, and post-award documentation.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and statutory compliance.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of government and PSU tendering processes.
- Experience in GeM, CPP Portal, and e-procurement systems.
- Strong documentation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple bids.
- Knowledge of EMD, PBG, contract terms, and commercial conditions.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline, MBA desirable.
- Certification in tendering/procurement will be an added advantage.
