Job Description – Trainee (ITI / Diploma Freshers)

Employment Type: Trainee / Apprenticeship / Contract (as applicable)
Position Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic ITI and Diploma freshers to join our engine manufacturing operations. The selected candidates will be trained and deployed across production, assembly, machining, and quality departments as per plant requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification:
- ITI: Fitter / Machinist / Turner / Electrician / Diesel Mechanic / Welder / Motor Mechanic
- Diploma: Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Production
- Experience: Fresher (0–1 year)
- Age: 18 years +
- Shift: Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in engine assembly, machining, and production line operations
- Operate and monitor CNC / VMC / conventional machines (training provided)
- Perform loading, unloading, and basic machine setup
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Conduct basic quality checks using gauges and measuring instruments
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards on the shop floor
- Support maintenance and breakdown activities under supervision
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and production norms
Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of mechanical / electrical systems
- Ability to read drawings and job cards (preferred)
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes
- Good discipline, teamwork, and punctuality
- Physically fit for shop-floor work
