Job Summary:
The Vehicle Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all project vehicles used in the Gas Pipeline Project. The role involves scheduling vehicles for field teams, monitoring vehicle usage, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth transportation support for project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Management
- Coordinate and allocate vehicles for project staff, engineers, and field teams as per operational requirements.
- Ensure proper utilization of vehicles across different project sites.
- Monitor vehicle movement and maintain daily vehicle logs.
2. Fleet Scheduling
- Prepare and manage vehicle schedules for field visits, material transportation, and project activities.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely availability of vehicles.
3. Maintenance & Compliance
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and serviced on time.
- Track vehicle documents such as insurance, pollution certificates, and registration validity.
- Coordinate repairs and servicing when required.
4. Fuel & Expense Monitoring
- Maintain records of fuel consumption and vehicle expenses.
- Monitor fuel usage to avoid misuse and ensure cost efficiency.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle utilization reports.
- Keep proper documentation related to vehicle allocation, driver details, and maintenance records.
6. Coordination with Project Team
- Work closely with the project manager and field teams to support transportation needs.
- Ensure smooth logistics support for gas pipeline installation and maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate / Diploma in any discipline.
- Good knowledge of vehicle management and logistics coordination.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and record keeping.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles and drivers efficiently.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in vehicle coordination, fleet management, or logistics (preferably in infrastructure, construction, or pipeline projects).
