About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Tech Head to lead the technology vision and product development at Just Job. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with leading job platforms such as Apna, Naukri, or similar marketplaces and possess a strong understanding of scalable systems, DBMS, and algorithmic problem- solving.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can architect, build, and scale a competitive job platform while driving innovation and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead end-to-end product development, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Architect and optimize systems with a strong focus on DBMS, data structures, and algorithms.
- Build and position Just Job as a competitive product in the recruitment marketplace.
- Drive system design decisions, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.
- Collaborate with product, business, and leadership teams to deliver impactful features.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and deployment pipelines.
- Analyze market trends and competitor platforms to continuously improve product offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of experience in software development and engineering leadership.
- Prior experience with job portals / marketplace platforms (e.g., Apna, Naukri, or similar).
- Strong expertise in:
o Data Structures & Algorithms
o Database Management Systems (DBMS)
o System Design & Scalable Architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Proven ability to build and scale consumer-facing products.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building or scaling Dotnet , Job Portals
- Exposure to AI-driven hiring, recommendation engines, or matching algorithms.
- Startup experience or experience in high-growth environments.
