Job Tittle: Metrology Engineer 

Qualification: Diploma or BE /B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

Location : Hyderabad

Job Purpose
We are receiving a high volume of parts from the Charminar project, Localization team, and plant for capacity Molds. With the current manpower, inspection activities are not being completed within required timelines. This role is created to support timely inspections and ensure smooth project and plant parts inspection.

Key Responsibilities
 Perform dimensional inspection of incoming parts as per drawings.
 Operate and handle CMM for inspection and reporting.
 Use and maintain gauges and measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, height gauge etc.).
 Interpret drawings and apply GD&T for inspection and part acceptance.
 Identify and report non-conformances; support corrective actions.
 Maintain inspection and quality records in Standard formats (FAIR / LAIR)
 Coordinate with Plant Industrialisation, TA, Quality, Projects, and Supplier teams.

Qualification
 Diploma or BE /B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

Experience
 2–4 years in IQC, Metrology, or Quality Inspection roles.
 Hands-on experience in CMM, VMM handling is mandatory.

Skill Set Required
 CMM handling knowhow
 Gauges & measuring instruments handling knowledge
 Strong understanding of GD&T
 Component drawing interpretation
 Knowledge of IQC and metrology processes
