The Placement Manager will be responsible for candidate placements, employer tie-ups, LOI collection, OJT coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with corporates, government officials, and local stakeholders. The role requires achieving placement targets, coordinating job drives, and ensuring smooth verification and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Tie-Ups & LOI Management
- Visit corporates and companies to generate genuine placement opportunities for candidates.
- Collect and execute Letters of Intent (LOIs) from companies for candidate placements within one year.
- Ensure all LOIs and company details successfully pass PBSSD physical verification.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of employer partnerships.
- OJT (On-the-Job Training) Coordination
- Arrange OJT opportunities for candidates within the district.
- Coordinate with employers and candidates for smooth OJT execution.
- Collect and submit OJT certificates without delays or discrepancies.
- Government & Stakeholder Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with district government officials and PBSSD team members.
- Coordinate with schools, ITIs, colleges, Employment Exchanges, public representatives, local administration, and other stakeholders.
- Support verification processes and create employment opportunities for candidates.
- Placement & Joining Targets
- Achieve monthly and weekly placement targets.
- Ensure a minimum target of 30 candidate joinings per month and 7 joinings per week.
- Conduct and coordinate job drives and placement activities regularly.
- Candidate Follow-Up & Documentation
- Collect and verify candidate documents as per placement requirements.
- Follow up with unplaced candidates and ensure regular placement efforts.
- Maintain candidate databases and placement records accurately.
- Reporting & MIS Management
- Report regularly to the Center Manager and State Head.
- Prepare and submit MIS reports as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure timely communication, reporting, and data management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience in placement, recruitment, business development, or stakeholder management preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to achieve targets and work in field operations.
- Good knowledge of MIS reporting and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication.
