Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Basket Maker Trainer to lead training programs aimed at developing competent basket makers. The trainer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training sessions to equip participants with the necessary skills and expertise in basket weaving techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop structured training curricula, lesson plans, and instructional materials focused on basket making principles, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to impart basket weaving skills effectively.
• Provide instruction in basket making tools, equipment, materials, and proper usage techniques.
• Demonstrate and explain various weaving patterns, designs, and finishing techniques to trainees.
• Assess trainees’ progress and skill levels through practical assessments, tests, and evaluations.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, new tools, and emerging trends in basket making.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to training activities and evaluations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in basket making.
• Proficiency in different weaving styles and finishing methods.
• 12th pass or equivalent required.
• Vocational training/certification preferred.
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
