Position-Supervisor
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical, or Electrical
Experience: 1–5 years in railway projects or infrastructure supervision.
Role Overview:
The Supervisor will oversee daily site activities for railway projects, ensuring work is
carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical standards and project
timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise on-site railway construction, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, railway regulations, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers to execute scheduled tasks.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment required at the site.
- Conduct site inspections, check work quality, and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update project managers on work status.
- Resolve on-site issues, delays, or hazards promptly.
- Ensure proper installation of railway components like tracks, sleepers, and signalin equipment (as applicable).
- Train and guide workers on safety protocols and work processes.
- Maintain documentation related to site activities, attendance, and material usage.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of railway safety standards and on-site practices.
- Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Good reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and in shifts as required.
