Job Purpose

To support safe and continuous operation of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) systems by assisting in routine operations, maintenance activities, and emergency response during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Support

• Assist in monitoring PNG supply parameters (pressure, flow, meter readings).
• Support start-up, shutdown, and isolation activities under supervision.
• Attend customer complaints and emergency calls as instructed.

Maintenance Assistance

• Assist in routine and preventive maintenance of:
• PNG pipelines
• Regulating & Metering Stations (RMS / DRM / DRS)
• Valves, meters, and fittings
• Help in leak detection, rectification, and line patrolling.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow HSE guidelines, SOPs, and permit-to-work systems.
• Use PPE correctly and maintain safe work practices.
• Report unsafe conditions, leaks, or abnormalities immediately.

Shift Duties

• Maintain shift logs, checklists, and readings.
• Support emergency response and mock drills.
• Coordinate with field teams and control room when required.
